UFC Live will sponsor on April 25th the UFC 186 pay-per-view event in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, where T.J. Dillashaw puts his bantamweight belt on the line against Renan Barao in a rematch of their memorable 2014 encounter.
Dillashaw, the UFC bantamweight champion, has been forced to withdraw from his April 25 title defense against Barao due to a fractured rib. His manager, Mike Roberts, informed the MMA Fighting organization that Dillashaw injured his rib during wrestling practice last Friday. He will be sidelined for approximately six weeks.
As a result, the UFC scrapped the fight from the card, and according to a UFC president Dana White, the new UFC 186 main event will be Demetrious Johnson vs. Kyoji Horiguchi for the flyweight title, and John Makdessi vs. Abel Trujillo has now been moved to the pay-per-view main card.

What is MMA and the UFC Live? The fastest growing sports organization in the world, the Ultimate Fighting Championship® (UFC®), started in 1993 as a professional mixed martial arts (MMA) organization. UFC has revolutionized the fight business, and today stands as the world's leading MMA promoter, offering the premier series of MMA sports events that have sold out some of the biggest arenas and stadiums across the globe. The UFC Live was created in the United States in 1993 with minimal rules, and was promoted as a competition to determine the most effective martial art for unarmed combat situations.
The UFC organization follows a rich history and tradition of competitive MMA dating back to the Olympic Games in Athens. About 80 years ago, a Brazilian form of MMA known as Vale Tudo (anything goes) sparked local interest in the sport. It wasn't long before the fighters realized that if they wanted to be competitive among the best, they needed to train in additional disciplines. UFC fighters began to morph into well-rounded, balanced fighters that could fight standing or on the floor. This blend of fighting styles and skills became known as Mixed Martial Arts (MMA).
Today, the UFC has evolved into an organization where hybrid athletes are required to know various disciplines in order to compete at an elite level in a regulated environment where safety is paramount. UFC athletes are skilled in many forms of martial arts, including karate, jiu-jitsu, boxing, kickboxing, grappling, wrestling, sumo and other combat sports. All this can be seen with UFC Live.
Originating from the full contact sport of Vale Tudo in Brazil, today, the UFC is the premier organization in MMA and enforces the United Rules of Mixed Martial Arts without exception. With more than 40 fights every year, the UFC hosts most of the top-ranked fighters in the world. Events are held not only in America, but in many countries all over the globe.
